What is the new website all about?

The website is an online local shop platform called “Your Local Shop”, the client wants to sell products, ready to pick it up or for delivery. Also they provide a bundle box for a daily meal posts on the website. they focus on two categories which are fruit & veg and seafood. Helping the customers to stay healthy and living a balanced life.

Are there any Pre-existence restraints that need to be considered when developing the website solutions?

Restraints are choosing and preparing images for web, affordable prices for the customers and from the suppliers, add a bundle box to e-commerce website, also time-frame for the project is limited wouldn’t allow us to create more categories and use filtered list by limited categories.

Who is going to visit and use the website?

Young families, busy working mums, student from 18- 45 yo.  

Identify the contents and products that we are going to deliver to the visitors?

The contents which will be available on the client Website are fruits, vegetables and seafood products, images and blogs.

What is the appropriate server-side language and hosting environment?

Microsoft Azure is a set of cloud services to help us meet business challenge and it is good environment to build, manage and deploy applications on a massive, global network using multiple tools and framework.

To run WordPress, it is recommended that our host supports:

• PHP version 7.3 or greater
• MYSQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater.
• HTTPS support

What functionality (e-commerce, forum, blog, filtered listing) are we going to deliver to the visitors?

E-commerce and blog are major functions that we are going to work on and deliver a good services to the online customers as a start point.

We have a future plan for our client to use forum which is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. They differ from chat rooms, however they both are methods to communicate with other people over the internet, but in different ways. Whereas chat rooms allow us to communicate with people in a real time, forums are more suited for discussions where not all the participants have to be online at the same time, also forums are more organised with discussions separated into topics called “threads” which are moderated Ad  

What customisation will be necessary to match the requirements?

We will install woo-commerce plugin which is matching with WordPress.org perfectly in providing a good e-commerce services.
